We had a very enjoyable and lively guided tour of the Acropolis! Fotini took us through the long history of the Parthenon, the Temple of Nike, and more. She also knows the perfect spots to briefly escape the crowds and truly take in the experience. A tour in Dutch is a real advantage when children are involved, as it keeps them much more engaged.

A passion for history. A love for Athens

My name is Fotini (Tine) Lepidou. I am Greek, but I was born and raised in Belgium, specifically in the Flemish region — a proud Limburger!

After a brief career as a teacher (German), I eventually decided to leave Belgium and settle in my country of origin. Here in Greece, I discovered my Mediterranean side.

This beautiful country, with its rich culture and history, has fascinated me from the very beginning. That is why I followed the National Academic Guide Training in Crete, from which I graduated in 2000.

Since then, my job has become my passion! I truly love what I do, and interacting with people fascinates me — young or old, from every corner of the world!
