The museum tour follows a clear chronological route, highlighting both iconic masterpieces and lesser-known objects that often go unnoticed without a guide. Several special exhibits are also pointed out—works that deserve more attention than they usually receive. During the tour, you gain deeper insight into daily life and art in ancient Athens.
Special focus is placed on the original sculptures, the Caryatids, and the Parthenon frieze.

Acropolis Museum guided tour
We had a very enjoyable and lively guided tour of the Acropolis! Fotini took us through the long history of the Parthenon, the Temple of Nike, and more. She also knows the perfect spots to briefly escape the crowds and truly take in the experience. A tour in Dutch is a real advantage when children are involved, as it keeps them much more engaged.
Early visit to the AcropolisA fresh, windy day, but the guide’s smooth and engaging approach kept everyone’s attention sharp. Even the children (16 and 18) were actively involved through thoughtful questions and challenges. A very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!!
